With its renewed form, Tersane and Orta Kapuz became much more beautiful.
You can enter free of charge with showers, changing cabins, seating areas, sun loungers and umbrellas, and a jumping area.

Tersane Beach takes its name from a shipyard that once stood in this area. It's a free beach in Zonguldak's city center during the summer months, meaning during peak season. It's located just beyond Kapuz Beach, a very close 5-minute walk. Unfortunately, since there aren't any businesses, there are no changing rooms, showers, a market, a buffet, or restrooms. It's a flat beach. It's not sandy; it's a small, pebbly beach. It has two distinct sections. The first is on the right side of the road when you approach. The other section is directly across, continuing to the left. Another review has a photo from above, which is much clearer. It's crowded in high season. If you've been there off-season, like I did, you'll encounter very few people, and the area is littered with trash and neglected. In high season, photos from other reviews say it's relatively well-maintained and clean, as you can see. I wouldn't say it has its own path. When you enter the Kapuz Beach parking lot, you'll see the train track at the far end of the parking lot. Continue across the train track and follow the road, reaching Tersane Beach. You can drive almost to the beach, but I think it's best not to; the road isn't very good. Also, at the exit of the Kapuz Beach parking lot near the train line, they sometimes block the road with a chain. If you can find a spot, I recommend parking at the Kapuz Beach parking lot and walking for 5 minutes. There are many rocks and concrete around the beach, which can be dangerous for young children, so parental supervision is recommended.

The municipality has provided a good service. Life jackets are provided inside. There's a small kiosk, but there's no elevator. It needs to be operational as soon as possible.

Entry is free. There are no umbrellas and they are not available for rent. If I remember correctly, there are four changing rooms and outdoor showers. The sea is beautiful, made of small pebbles and sand. There were no waves when we went, but it was crowded despite it being a weekday. It deepens suddenly after 2-3 meters. The sea was clean and free of seaweed. The toilet is located very high up. You can get a life jacket for free with your ID. If you have a disabled guest, they will pick them up from the top by car if you request one from the lower level. There's also a free garage, and the sea is just 5 minutes away.

Tersane Beach will be renovated in 2025. It has a buffet, changing rooms, and showers. But it's not perfect. It's only recently opened, so I expect it to gradually improve. I hope visitors will contribute to this development by following the rules and disposing of their trash in the trash. This natural wonder can be transformed into a more beautiful and modern facility with everyone's contributions.
