It's a wonderful place in the summer. But I never managed to come here in time for summer. The sea is a bit rough, and I usually come during rainy seasons. But overall, it's a quiet place. There aren't any crowds. The sea is shallow. I go out quite far, and the water stays up to my waist. It's not like Marmaris, but getting there and back is a hassle, traffic is another problem, and the heat is another problem. This place is all that I've mentioned.
It's a filthy beach. The changing rooms have no doors. There's no water after you get out of the sea. They've ripped off the taps. Also, what I don't understand is that parking is free from September to June. The rest of the months are paid rentals for park chairs and umbrellas. The idiots in Europe don't like Germans because they're on leave during those months, but they send them back pregnant during those months. What kind of municipality allows this? There are no roads or drinking water.
Opportunists are rampant. It's as if a special scheme is being conducted to extort money from expats. They've set up a tent-like structure on the beach, and sitting in it is prohibited! Because it might offend the renters. This opportunism needs to be stopped! I'm looking at the comments and see some people are raving about the beach. Only Turkish people who don't know what a road is would have such low expectations.
I came to Sinop for the first time. It is a cute and beautiful town with magnificent nature and scenery. I recommend you to come.
The Türkeli Municipality has privatized public beach management. Because it's a public beach and there are no other beaches in the area, it's busy during July and August. Parking is charged, and a self-service buffet breakfast and snacks are available. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, but you might find someone right next to you.
