Despite it being a weekend, it's very crowded. The water, thanks to the spring water, is both cold and clean. There are municipal facilities where you can buy affordable food and drinks. The current price for a sun lounger is 250 TL per day.

Don't forget to bring your swimming goggles. The restaurant with the blue umbrellas has more reasonable prices. Parking is adequate.

My favorite place to swim in Mersin is a few steps. You can enter the sea from the shore, but it's a bit rocky. If you go on the weekends, it can be very crowded and uncomfortable. It's forbidden to set up tents or light a fire. They've started charging for the beach's own parking lot. They charge 100 TL per day. There are also parking areas nearby. A single sunbed costs 250 TL, a double 500 TL. Furthermore, there's a WC/shower/cabin fee of 20 TL. The staff is attentive, and the lifeguard is on duty all day. There are plenty of fish, so you can dive with goggles and watch them. It doesn't feel like the old days, but it's worth a visit and it's clean.

This is a paradisematic bay. They used to just pour concrete and leave it there, so you could just spread out towels and things and sit. It even had a small beach. Now, the potential there is unforgettable, and it's home to a variety of venues. There are three or four businesses renting sunbeds and serving food and drink. Prices are a bit high, but lying on that sunbed, gazing out at the bay, soaking in the sun and diving into that magnificent, crystal-green sea, and the added bonus of the cold water bubbling from the seabed, despite being a bay, is indescribable. I highly recommend it.

A sunbed and umbrella cost 250 lira at the municipality. The area pictured belongs to the municipality, while the private businesses on the right are. There's plenty of space to park your car outside, but only if you arrive early in the morning. There's also a daily parking lot for 100 lira, so you might be able to find a spot there.
Most of it is deep except for a certain area. The shallower part, which is often crowded with non-swimmers, is also quite crowded. Because it's such a small area, it's not very clean. I had an open wound on my foot, and when I first entered, I was bothered by fish trying to bite it. I later used a bandage to alleviate this. The bottom is sandy, but there's also plenty of rock and grit. The water is truly cool and beautiful. It would be a great place if it weren't crowded, but the crowds make it very difficult to get a clear view. It wasn't bad, but I don't plan on going back.
