As of May 20th, the sea is slightly cold and clear, which we really enjoyed. There are only bits of plastic floating on the shore, but after the first 5 or 10 meters, the water is crystal clear. The businesses on the beach are closed, but you can use some straw umbrellas free of charge. Because İşleymelet is closed, it's difficult to find restrooms and changing rooms, but luckily, there aren't any.

We parked our car on the far left side of the beach and entered from the entrance there... The sea water was nice, there were a little waves and wind but it did not prevent us from entering. Shower was 20 TL, Toilet was 10 TL... The shower water was hot and it was a closed shower. It is a pretty long beach and it is pretty lively in the evenings, I think there were souvenir shops in the style of a bazaar, they said they open at 6 in the evening.

Friends, it's not the beach that's dirty, it's the sea. The municipality cleans it not just in the evenings but throughout the day. The beach is beautiful in the morning, the water, the water temperature, everything is wonderful, but by the afternoon, the sea has become a dumping ground. Waves of garbage are coming in from the open sea. Who is responsible for this? The coast guard or the navy? They should go after those who throw this garbage. It's a shame. They're national treasures. Nowhere in the world would such a sea and beach be wasted.

There's a cafe on the beach and within it, owned by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, where you can find delicious food and cold drinks. We enjoyed our meals and drinks there more than at the hotel we stayed at. There were two women working at the service and the cash register, whose names I forget at the moment. I'd like to thank them. As I said, the beach is clean, and the staff is constantly cleaning, but the sea is dirty. It might be a bit difficult to avoid this. The trash people throw is nauseating.

The ideal beach for young people and families with children. With its wide sand and clean, slow-draining waters, you can set up a parasol and hang out until evening. The beach is very long, reminiscent of Sarımsaklı Beach in Ayvalık. There are facilities here and there, but generally people bring their towels and chairs and relax on their own. I swam near Kapızlı, but that's also called Susanoğlu, meaning it's a very long beach.
