In general, it was a beautiful bay and we were pleased. However;

Since it was a weekend, it was very crowded, with people coming with their tents, setting up tables and chairs, etc.

The water was a good temperature, not too cold for us. Since we were coming from Ayvalık, we didn't feel too cold. However, the kids had a hard time getting in, and it felt cold to them.
It was extremely wavy and windy, but we still enjoyed it, it's a matter of preference. It wasn't clean and clear, but rather murky.
The mixture of stones and gravel gets deeper immediately before reaching the very rocky pontoons until it enters the sea.

There's a large parking area at the entrance for 40 TL. We couldn't find any other alternatives; there's no place to park your car.

It's run by the municipality; we paid 50 TL for two sun loungers and an umbrella. The wooden sun loungers are very uncomfortable; you can buy extra cushions for 10 TL.

There was a toilet and shower cabin. There were places to eat. Meatballs, bread, and fish sandwich were 40 TL.

Frankly, it's not a beach I'd choose again, as it's like a weekend market. Ekmeksiz Beach is said to be more beautiful, so that's a good option.

We love this place with its sandy sea, trees, birds on the beach, just like the Maldives. You can eat and drink at the municipality or bring your own food and set up your table.

I visited Akkum Beach for a few hours to explore. Parking is 100 TL regardless of the time, WC is 10 TL, showers and changing rooms are free, those who arrive early in the morning can put tables and chairs under the trees, umbrellas are free, sunbeds are 100 TL, there are cafes, the prices are extremely opportunistic; double tea is 50 TL, tea is 30 TL, lays are 70 TL, ayran is 50 TL, it is overcrowded on the weekends, there is a lot of wind, the sea is wavy and gets deep quickly, 14/07/2024.

The sea is wonderful, the beach is wonderful, but the price of sunbeds on the beach is 400 TL, the parking fee is 200 TL. There is a tree area behind the beach, seating under the trees is free. It is more logical to settle under the trees than to spend 400 TL. Even though it is the municipality's place, the sunbed fee is high in my opinion.

We stopped by a bay on our way back from Çeşme. Unfortunately, the road is very bad. The sea is very nice, sandy but it gets deep quickly. Parking is 200 TL. Showers and cabins are free but we couldn't use them because of the water outage. There are private businesses. The sea was good in the morning but around 16:00 the waves started to get very high. You can also rent a sunbed or have a picnic with your own chairs under the trees.
