The beach is accessed through a private complex. Cars are prohibited; you have to park and enter through the gated area. We found street parking right near the entrance, but I think there's also a parking lot a short distance away. You can bring your own umbrellas and chairs, or you can rent them. There are businesses selling food and drinks. For 20 TL, you can use the restrooms, showers, and changing rooms. The water is crystal clear, clean, and shallow. Even though we were quite far out, our feet were still touching the surface. I really enjoyed it because I'm not a deep-sea enthusiast, but even strong swimmers might not appreciate it. Even though we went on a Saturday, it was calm.

The sea is nice and shallow for families with children. Crowds can make it cloudy on weekends. It's clearer during the week. There's usually a light breeze in the afternoon, but it's not a problem. Parking is available on the streets, but parking is not permitted inside the resort. You can spend time either on the paid side or on the public beach.

The area is perfect for families with children. We arrived in June, and the sea was a little cold, but it's completely sandy and very, very shallow.

We didn't go with our own umbrellas etc. We rented sun loungers from a business called '7. Bölük Beach & Pension' next to the Regional Directorate of Forestry. We paid 750 for 2 sun loungers, a shower cabin and a WC.

Most importantly, there are families and everyone is Turkish. It's a sea that will be frequently chosen.

İpekkum Beach is truly beautiful. The shore is sandy and quite wide. Especially in the morning, the sea is as calm as a pool. The water is so clear you can see the fish with the naked eye. If you go on a weekday, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, tranquil, and enjoyable. Rentals for sun loungers and umbrellas are also quite reasonable, and the service provided by the businesses is also satisfactory.

But things change completely on the weekend. The beach becomes a kind of Parents' Day affair, so to speak. Even if you arrive early in the morning and rent a sunbed, people will soon be setting up their own umbrellas and chairs. Suddenly, your view is blocked, the surroundings are noisy, and the atmosphere is unsettling. This situation is truly frustrating and demands a solution.

If this is a public beach, why are there businesses there? If there are businesses, and they have responsibilities for the beach, why is the front of the business being opened up for use in this haphazard way? The beach is stretched out. The municipality urgently needs to implement regulations. While residents should be able to bring their own umbrellas to designated areas, the front of the businesses should remain open.

I went at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, thinking I'd secured the best beach chair, but less than an hour later, I was lined up in front of me like the Great Wall of China with umbrellas and chairs. No one deserves this malaise. The municipality should please take a look at this place.

Yesterday, my family and I went to İpekkum Beach for a day trip. You can't park your car inside the resort—it's prohibited—but you can easily find parking on the streets before entering. You drive through the resort on the way to the beach. There's a cafe on the beach, and food and drink prices are reasonable for a resort area. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee. We brought our own umbrella and belongings. The sea is clean, but the beach is extremely pebbly and there are broken glass. When we went, the sea was salty and cold, but not deep. It's ideal for families with children. I wouldn't recommend it for those who enjoy the open sea. The cafe facilities have toilets and showers. The toilets are extremely dirty, lacking everything, and the shower stalls are filthy, but the toilet costs 20 TL. There are fountains at the exit where you can wash your feet. We had a great time. You can also walk along the beach with your family. Stay tuned for more ;)
