Historical water reservoirs are structures used in the past for the storage and distribution of water. While their materials and architecture varied depending on the period and region, they were generally constructed as underground cisterns or above-ground pools. These reservoirs played a crucial role in managing water resources and meeting the water needs of settlements, and today they are preserved as archaeological and historical heritage.

It's 35 km from Milas city center. The road is asphalt, but it's broken down in some places. It takes about 45 minutes from Milas city center. After Kıyıkışlacık city center, it's another 15 minutes. The beach is sandy, and you can drive close to it by car.

The public beach has sand, umbrellas, and is free. I didn't see a restroom, but there is a changing room. There are two businesses inside the minibus that serve gözleme (Turkish flatbread), toast, and meatballs in bread. Other than the winding road, it's quite nice.

Of all the routes we've visited so far, this was the quietest location, depending on the season. This location, which gets quite crowded during the summer season, is a great location for caravans, especially trailers, as the roads are very suitable.

There's a restroom and water supply on site. It's closed off-season, but you can get free water near the parking area. Markets are within walking distance, and the municipality collects and cleans garbage twice a day.

The sea is incredibly clear, and fishing is possible from the shore. There's a light breeze in the evening, but it's not bothersome.

The beautiful public beach has showers but no toilets, and the municipality provides services for a fee, but it has no other service except garbage disposal. They are interfering with the constitutional freedom of caravans and expelling them from the shores with threats of punishment, based on complaints from the meaningless, inexplicable rich. We see how helpless and ruthless the administrators we elected to serve the public are towards the rich. They are even afraid to offer solutions.

Because it's a 5-minute walk from our accommodation, we experienced every moment. If you're particularly interested in going, definitely avoid weekends or evenings. While the sea is calm, clear, and beautiful in the morning, by evening, the sand has lifted and the seaweed has washed ashore. While shade can be found in the morning under a shade tree or beach umbrella, it starts to get crowded in the afternoon. Weekends can be extra crowded and unsafe. There are both free and paid parking areas within walking distance. Just behind the beach, a few steps up, is a concentration of caravans and tents. This is probably why there are so many bees and flies, but they don't bother us too much. There are free changing rooms and showers in the same area. You might encounter plenty of cats and dogs on the beach, but they're all very calm, docile, and never bothersome. Most of the dogs are leashed. Finally, we couldn't see what the beach was like after dark because families of pigs roam the area. There are beaches at one end of the public beach. From what we've seen, they've posted a large sign saying that sunbeds are 200 TL and that bringing in outside food and drinks is prohibited. You'll see that when you arrive. Skip these places and reach the completely free public beach. The sea is not separate; both the public beach and the beach section share the same water.
