The public beach is small, with municipal umbrellas. There are outdoor showers and changing rooms. There are no restrooms. There's a mosque 300 meters away. The grocery store is across from the mosque.

The water is clear and the bottom is clear.

# There are so many cigarette butts and sunflower seed litter in the sand. You won't see this much filth on Istanbul's Menekşe Beach. Marmaris Municipality, clean up the beach, my friend... This is Muğla.

The sea is a mix of sand and gravel, but it's not harmful to your feet. The so-called public beach is a meter-wide area between paid areas. Bring an umbrella and a camping chair. The sea water is not bad; it's warm. I think the boats made the water a little cloudy this afternoon, but it cleared up again later.

There is nothing to complain about the color and feel of the sea, but the coastal part is not very pleasant, it is very crowded and rocky, but it has a unique Turunç view, it is a place where you can come and have a pleasant time.

Don't come without reading these.. ‼️
The road between Marmaris and Turunç is very winding and steep. The sides of the road are steep. If you have a small child or baby, and if you're worried about the long, dangerous curves, reconsider your decision to come to Turunç. Unfortunately, the mountains, which were magnificent before the 2021 fires, are now barren hills. And you drive with a view of the cliff; it's a dangerous road. The hotels are surrounded by trees. Somehow, the trees there have been preserved. If you have any fears of fire, scorpions, insects, or snakes, reconsider. They say everything is sprayed and constantly sprayed, but it's a system built into the habitat of other creatures. You might encounter a scorpion or snake in the pool or garden of your hotel.
The sea is clean, cool, and beautiful in the morning. Unfortunately, afterward, the boat waste, engine oil, and dirt are washed away. It's not clean.
For a town that has experienced fire, I still think the fire precautions are inadequate. I don't know how to escape if there's a fire, whether you can reach your car, how to navigate the steep and winding roads, or who will rescue you if you don't have a vehicle.
If there's a health issue, there's no hospital or doctor. There's a community clinic available. During business hours, of course, on weekdays. It's a difficult place for families with babies, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses. If you're thinking about avoiding that trip and continuing your vacation, the nearest hospital is in Marmaris. You can get there and back by boat. Of course, you never know how serious or urgent the health issue will be.
A visit to Turunç might be ideal for young people. However, given the country's conditions, they might not have the money. It's definitely not a value-for-money resort. If you're in dire straits, you can only stay one night and move on.
If you have come all the way to Turunç, you have passed the most difficult stage ☺️ There are more beautiful places around Amos, Kumlubük, Söğüt and Selimiye.

The magnificent long beach, whether it's the municipality or the state (whoever is responsible, they all serve the same purpose), has been given over to private hotels and restaurants, leaving a tiny, barely 50-meter-wide area for the public. The sea is wonderful, light sand and pebbles, but it doesn't hurt their feet. The public beach can get a bit crowded, but the people are respectful and clean. I've never seen another country that so degrades its own citizens, that treats them like dogs, that disturbs people's peace, that drives them to spend money, and that strips them of their rights. The sea belongs to everyone, and everyone has the right to enjoy it freely. Shame on them.
