It is a very suitable beach for children and the elderly. The sea depth is not long and the children can have a lot of fun. The beach is also beautiful and there are seashells and such. We had a great time. There were a lot of baby crabs in the sea, of course they were hiding in their shells, which are their nests.
The sea is very shallow and generally extremely algae-filled. Unfortunately, the crowd is full of strange people who leave all their garbage on the beach, disturbing families and vacationers. Most of the beach is monopolized by sunbeds and umbrellas, and there's no service or cleanliness. It's a shame; it's so awful, except for its name. It's heartbreaking.
There's a public beach, and you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a reasonable price. Depending on wind and rain, the sea can sometimes be seaweedy. The sea and beach are just sand. The depth increases as the sea gets deeper. It's a place where you can easily bring your own chairs, umbrellas, and other items to swim with your family. There's also a small supermarket and cafes nearby. It's a safe beach where you can watch the moonlight and chat in the evenings. I highly recommend it.
We went about 10 days ago. The water is hot, the beach is public, and it's free, but the toilet is 15 TL, the shower is 50 TL, the cabin is 15 TL. Since it's a public beach, these should be free too, but unfortunately. The sea is nice for families with children, but you can go there a lot. It's still knee-deep. The beach is sandy, but full of garbage. There are careless people and many people drink alcohol. There's a small supermarket near the entrance, and bagels are sold on the beach. You won't go hungry. There's no other paid parking lot.
The photos are so beautiful, I'm sure you'll be disappointed when you get there. The beach is littered with trash, cigarette butts all along the shore. The main reason is obvious: the lack of trash cans. If people had put them in clay or mud vase-like buckets, they could throw their trash there instead of throwing it on the ground. I'm writing this in case a municipality member reads this, and a member of staff could even dustpan the butts in the morning. There are cafes and small restaurants nearby. There are markets at the entrance, and there's paid parking, but the entrance and the interior are cramped. The district generally has a high dog population, so there are plenty of dogs on the beach. It seems suitable for families. I saw a restroom nearby, but I don't know if it's open. We stopped by around 7:00 AM.
