Why Choose Riviera Beach?

Riviera Beach boasts several features that set it apart from other Maltese beaches. Firstly, it offers a relatively calm and less crowded atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a peaceful day and enjoying the sea. The beach's waters are usually clear and ideal for swimming. There are also a few cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, ensuring you won't go hungry or thirsty. Sunbed and umbrella rentals are available. Best Time to Visit?

Winter months can be cooler and rainier, making it less suitable for spending time on the beach.

Additional Information

The beach is beautiful and sunny, but there is a lot of straw and rubbish that hasn't been cleaned up. A little maintenance would make it much more enjoyable.

It's a beautiful beach, perfect for families! The sand is clean and soft, and the view from the nearby hill is absolutely beautiful and relaxing.

That's what works best for me. It's a stretch of the Maltese coastline so beautiful it would make a travel brochure cry. Golden sands, clear blue waters, and enough space to spread out your towel without having to fight for territory with your neighbor. The sea is calm enough for a lazy swim, the views are stunning, and the whole place feels pleasantly removed from the noise of the busier beaches. Bring sunscreen, a cold drink, and the desire to stay "just one more hour" until the sun starts to set and you realize you've spent the whole day here. And while you're here, do yourself a favor and grab a pizza at Singita—delicious food, friendly staff, and the kind of relaxed beachside charm that will make you forget you have a return flight.

Malta's most beautiful sandy beach. Small and clean. There's a restaurant, umbrellas, and sun loungers. I recommend arriving early to ensure ample space and sun loungers. The downside is that there are no showers.

It's a beautiful beach, crowded with young partygoers; there's a bar where you can get food and drinks. You can find a few empty spots on the beach, and you can rent umbrellas, but it's still very crowded. We only managed to find a spot at 2 p.m. So, come in the morning.
