Where is Kilimli and how to get there?

Kilimli is a village in the Şile district of Istanbul, a popular destination for both Istanbulites and visitors from surrounding provinces, especially during the summer months. It's approximately a 20-30-minute drive from the center of Şile. The most convenient way to get there is by car; you can reach the village by following the Şile highway. For those who prefer public transportation, minibuses departing from Şile city center are also available, but reaching the beaches requires a short walk through the village.

It's particularly famous for its sunset views; as its name suggests, it takes on a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. It offers a safer environment for families.

The Kilimli area is home to small, pristine coves, often nestled among the rocks, accessible via hiking trails. Because these coves are generally uninhabited, you'll need to bring your own equipment (water, food, and an umbrella).
