The longest sandy beach on the northern coast.
Entry to the beach is free. This makes it extremely crowded on weekends. It's quieter in the early morning and before sunset. Entry is prohibited after 8:00 PM, as it's a turtle sanctuary. There are no amenities like sun loungers, showers, or shade.
You can see the turtle egg nests marked as in the picture I shared.

It's one of the rare beaches, especially quiet and peaceful, a place to unwind in winter, yet still far removed from traffic and pollution. Of course, it also has another appeal, being a turtle nesting ground, and I think this has been exploited in recent years. But, in its own way, it's definitely a must-see.

Alagadi Turtle Beach:
It is located 3 km east of the Kyrenia Teknecik Power Plant and is one of the most common egg-laying areas for the loggerhead sea turtle and green turtle.

It's a beautiful place. A little tip: you enter the beach from one end, and if you go to the other end, the seaweed decreases.

The beach is also a protected area because it's a turtle breeding ground. Entering the beach at night is prohibited. The beach is quite long. There are no businesses, so be prepared. You might also want to bring an umbrella, as finding shade is a bit difficult. Because entrance is free, it can get crowded on weekends.
