It's truly a tiny, hidden cove. We set up two tents, right next to the sea. It felt like our own privately owned cove. The waters were pebble-covered and quite calm. The crystal-clear underwater scenery made it a must-see. Please keep it clean. If you're going to leave your trash, don't even go there.
It's a quiet, small, uninhabited bay, with no showers or toilets. Every time I come here, the sea is choppy, and after a while, the waves get tiring.
Should those who don't know how to swim bring sea slippers or not?
.... I'm telling you, my friend, who will leave it inside, don't come here, spend your vacation, your tent, your camp in the garden of your own village. Here, on Mecidiye Beach and Erikli Beach, we're taking away the filth you left behind, bags by bags, and we haven't been able to reduce it even a gram for years. Curse on enemies of the country like you.
On the advice of a diver friend, we went to the hidden Ibrice Bay, planning a campsite departure on Friday and return on Sunday. After three hours of searching, we finally found it thanks to guidance from another diver. After arriving at Ibrice Harbor, there's a path on the left, but it was closed and banned in 2022 due to forest fires. You have to leave your car and walk 5-10 meters. Each shore is a cliff. The landing point is at a very extreme point, and you descend using the natural staircase formed by the rocks. It's very dangerous; if you slip, you'll fall with a crash. The rocks are huge; unless you have an inflatable mattress, you can't sleep on them without shoes or slippers. Erikli is already a popular destination, just 30 minutes away, and those who know it often visit because it's quieter and cleaner. There's a diving center right below, so you'll see plenty of freedivers and scuba divers. The water is crystal clear, with no unpleasant odors. We didn't encounter any insects or flies. Even though our tent was black and fresh, we managed to sleep until 8:00 at most. There are no trees, the rocks aren't scary enough, and you're facing east. The sun hits at a steep angle until 14:00. In the evening, it's perfect, there's not a speck of light, and there's no sound except the sound of waves. ☺️ No one comes because the way up and down is dangerous. Those who came before used a hole there as a stove, making it very suitable for starting a fire. Since there are no trees, the chance of a fire is zero. It's a very narrow area, suitable for a maximum of 2 people + 1 person + 1 tent. The ground slopes towards the sea. When the tide is high, the water laps the shore quite a bit. There are a lot of downsides, but it really feels like a hidden cove. The water is extremely clear; you can see the bottom and mimic fish without even putting your head in. And unfortunately, people have left traces of garbage here. I won't want to go again, but it's a place I'm happy to have spent time there. I recommend it for a two-day getaway. Of course, there are no facilities; the nearest village, Mecidiye, is 20 minutes away, and there's the A101 and the necessary local businesses and liquor stores. However, since Erikli Beach and Danişment Park are common destinations for visitors, you'll have trouble finding most things.
