We wanted to stop by this beach after reading the reviews. It was a very enjoyable place to snorkel. I think this beach, created by filling, would be a great place to have fun with kids and families. There's also an aquapark, but we didn't use it; the cost was 300 TL, and the first slide was free.
The beach offers parking and a picnic area where you can barbecue. I believe the staff arranges the barbecue, so you can use it without any preparation. I think this municipally-run beach is the most beautiful one accessible by car in the Kaş area. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas. It's a convenient and beautiful setting. My family really enjoyed it.

?️ A quiet, clean and enjoyable municipal beach!
Despite being very close to Kaş's city center, Akçagerme Beach offers a peaceful and uncrowded retreat. The beach is entirely pebbled, so it's a good idea to bring water shoes. The water is crystal clear, deep blue, and generally quite calm.

One of the beach's most beautiful features is the two diving platforms located in the sea! They're especially fun for young people and children. Combined with the cool water, jumping has become a true summer classic.

Since it's a municipality-run hotel, prices are reasonable, amenities like showers, toilets, and changing rooms are available, and they're cleaned regularly. Parking is also a breeze.
I definitely recommend it for a few enjoyable hours with family or friends.

We went because a friend recommended it. There's free parking at the entrance, and disabled guests are also welcome. You can rent sunbeds and lodges inside. If you don't get to the lodges early, you're generally locked out. As of 2025, the seasonal price is 200 TL per person, while the lodges are 1000 TL. There's a buffet inside that serves food and drink. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and there's also an aqua park for children, but the water is refilled from the sea. The sea is beautiful, the bottom isn't sandy, but crumbled pebbles, so it doesn't hurt your feet. You can explore with snorkels and fins, as it's right next to the harbor, so they don't allow for much exposure. On the downside, the sunbeds and umbrellas should be smaller or have a different system. It's one of the nicest and most convenient places to go around Kaş. There are showers and restrooms, and there's a barbecue area, but we didn't see one.

It's a beautiful beach. The water is clear and clean. We went on a weekday, but it was still crowded. But it wasn't too disruptive. Parking is easy. The beach and parking are free. The free showers and changing rooms are great. There are businesses affiliated with the municipality. You can buy food and drinks. The prices are reasonable, so you won't be surprised. There's even an ice cream shop. It's a 7-8-minute drive from Kaş city center. After parking your car on the side of the road, you'll reach the beach in just a minute or two. It's a popular family beach. This was the most satisfying part for us. You can just bring your umbrella and chairs and sit there. We loved it and recommend it.

The sea is wonderful, with a crystal clear stone floor (sea shoes are required), no waves, and it deepens quickly. It's run by the municipality, so the prices are very reasonable. A sunbed costs 150 TL, an umbrella 150 TL. If you book a lodge, it's 1000 TL. There's a shaded area called "under the straw mat" with sunbeds, and the prices are 250 TL per sunbed. The prices in the dining area are very reasonable. A lodge makes great sense for families with children, especially for breastfeeding mothers. I had no problems with my 4-month-old baby in the sea. Breastfeeding and diaper changes were easy. It's also a cooler area than a sunbed. It's quieter in the mornings and towards closing time in the evenings; it's very crowded on Sundays. The restrooms are passable; most have tissues, but you can't use them because they get stuck in the napkin holder. The changing areas and shower area are adequate.
