Izmir Karaburun is among the beautiful places. The road is bad, I suggest you think twice before getting off. Also, the tow truck is a bit difficult to use on the way down, but it's still worthwhile. There is no water, electricity or toilet. Fishing is possible. The wind is strong in the afternoon and the sea water is a little cool.
I gave it 5 stars so it would show in the top comments, but it was awful. It has nothing to do with the photos. We wanted to stay for two nights, but we were ruined. There is a wetland in the back that looks like a pond or a lake. It stinks, especially if the wind is blowing from land. More importantly, that stagnant water section feeds an army of mosquitoes. As soon as the caravan lights turn on at night, thousands of mosquitoes. Oh, and to be fair. We ran inside, sprayed the insecticide, and hung out in the caravan. The next day in the evening, a tadpole attack started from the pond. Every step we took led us to stepping on a frog. We ran away while trying to get rid of the frog. What a disgrace. I'm not even going to mention that the place is full of garbage, and the back of the bushes are a field of arrows and napkins. We won't be coming to Davos yet?
It's a beautiful, clean bay. Don't go in with low-slung vehicles. Visitors should pay attention to cleanliness, don't throw trash around, and most importantly, the municipality should intervene and remove the bungalow-style and container-style structures.
It's a beautiful bay. The dirt road leads down to the beach, there's sand, and the sea is just like that. But come on, there's garbage everywhere. Day trippers leave everything behind and leave. No one thinks about what comes next. When will we learn to keep the environment clean?
The descent from the main road is a path, it is very easy to descend with a 4x4 car, there is a high probability that you will hit the bottom with other low vehicles ?♀️??♀️ Because there is sand on the beach, vehicles have difficulty moving forward. Perfect caravan site, no businesses, showers etc.?⛺️ You should bring your own umbrella, chairs and sun lounger ⛱️? It is a very clean beach and the water is very clear, but just 3-4 meters after entering the sea the water will exceed your height! It's not suitable for non-swimmers, but if you're someone who gets wet in the water and gets out, as long as it's a calm, clean beach - then this is the place for you!?️? But please take your trash and filth with you when you leave!!!?️ There are garbage containers right at the end of the path! Next time I go there, if I see anyone's garbage there, I will immediately shower them with "nice" words!?
