Yelkencioğlu Mansion, one of Safranbolu's historic houses, was built in the 19th century. Reflecting typical Safranbolu architecture and notable for its woodwork and ornamentation, the mansion is now open to visitors as a museum. We've been going since I was a kid.
There are constant waves, but the sand and sea are clean.
The beach is quite long
You should swim without going too far. It's a quiet beach where you can have a good time with your children.
It is also enjoyable to cross the stream to the beach.
When I was a kid, there was no bridge here. There was a raft made of canisters pulled by a rope. :)
There are no showers, cabins or toilets on the beach.
There's also a facility by the stream where you can stay. There's a paid restroom there. I didn't see a shower.
A new facility and market have been opened.
There is also a bungalow-style camp belonging to the municipality.
There's a tap by the stream. You can wash your sandy feet after leaving the beach.

We went on a Monday. It was empty except for a few families. It looks pristine. However, the sea is a bit choppy. Be careful. Come in the morning and go in the evening. Rest, recharge, and spend some time in peace. It's just the right place. The shopkeepers are very rip-offs; avoid going if possible.

We came with a caravan, it is a quiet town with a beautiful beach... the sea is sometimes wavy, we can call it a family beach.

Well, it was just wonderful. We went there for a day, but there is space for both caravans and tents, which is great, but the sea is a bit wavy, and there are not too many people, which is great.
