I've never seen such bad municipal management in my life. They've charged for everything, but there's no service. Toilets cost 20 TL, sunbeds 200 TL, and parking 100 TL. I was there last year, but the parking lot is still the same dirt. People want to pitch tents, but there's a special camping area on the other side of the park, and according to the municipality, tents are banned. The roads in the market are terrible, and the potholes I saw last year are still the same. The beach is free, but sunbeds are 200 TL. The staff comes late, and people queue for them. But the sea and beach are beautiful. If the management did what was necessary, it would be a nice place to relax.

I usually go to the left side of the beach. It's low and suitable for children. A shower and toilet should be added to the beach on the left. I think this is the best bay in Kandıra.

It's an incredible feeling to witness the sunrise in the early morning and witness that beautiful and unique landscape emerging from the horizon. The nature, the scenery, and the sea are truly unique. It's a place where you can spend time in silence, alone and with your thoughts.

Even though it was a weekday, it was extremely crowded. I recommend arriving early. I think Kocaeli Municipality is very good at public beaches, and they could serve as an example for other municipalities. Sun loungers and umbrellas cost a very reasonable 200 TL.

Kerpenin Beach, with its sandy and shallow waters, reminded me of Mediterranean beaches. I visited on a holiday, so I had difficulty finding parking or a free sunbed. Despite this, it was a beautiful beach. It's especially good for families with small children. I paid 200 TL for two sunbeds and an umbrella. It's municipally owned, but they don't accept cash. There's a lifeguard. The sea temperature was also quite pleasant when I visited. There's also a small children's playground. The beach also has changing rooms, showers, and restrooms. The restroom fee was 20 TL, which I found excessive. In addition, there's an ice cream parlor, a hamburger joint, and a cafe by the beach. Şok and the A101 are very close by. If you're visiting on a weekend or holiday, you might need to arrive early. Other days, there's no need for this.
