Cebeci Beach is a popular holiday destination located in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli, with its natural beauty and clean sea. Surrounded by the Tuzağzı Nature Park to the northeast and pink rocks to the southwest, this beach is an ideal option for those who want to camp in tents and be in touch with nature.
Getting to Cebeci Beach is quite easy. You can reach Kandıra by using the Ankara-Istanbul highway and then reach the beach. The distance from Kandıra center to the beach is approximately 23 km.

It's very crowded this year. The sea is fine. However, the restrooms are deplorable and smell awful. They charge a fee, but there's no service. You only go for the sea, but camping is allowed. It's a perfect place for families and young people. Showers and changing rooms are lacking, and I think there should be more.
It's a beautiful beach we've been going to for years. It's fitting that the restrooms are free. Some parts of the sea are really dirty. There are also jellyfish in some places. If you'd like to explore, you can come. Beautiful places.
Overall, it's a magnificent and beautiful beach. Visitors should prioritize personal education and development, support the municipality's resources and services, and be trained to prevent littering and waste. We thank Kocaeli Municipality for its efforts. However, the number of restrooms and showers is significantly inadequate on weekends and holidays, so we expect them to prioritize increasing restrooms and showers in tent and camping areas. WE THANK KOSKEM, THE GENDARMERIE, THE KOCAELİ MUNICIPALITY, AND THEIR FRIENDS.
When you enter when there is no wind and no waves, the water is crystal clear and the sand is golden yellow, without any seaweed. I didn't expect a beach in the Black Sea to be this beautiful. Other than that, shower cabins and toilets are free. 2 sun loungers and an umbrella are 200 TL at a place run by the municipality (as of 23.07.2025) and they didn't interfere with what we brought from outside. There were a lot of people pitching tents in the large area to the left of the sun loungers, but as far as we could see the municipality was not involved. Even though we went on a weekday, it was crowded, I can't imagine it being on a weekend. There are many markets etc. around to meet your needs. The last thing I can say is that there are queues even on weekdays for those who go by public transport. You have the chance of not being able to get on the buses from the bus station to go there. It would be beneficial to go half an hour in advance by checking the timetable. I can't even think about it on the weekend. The municipality's failure to increase the number of trips when there is such a high demand is causing inconvenience. I hope they solve it soon.
The sea was beautiful and cleaner than other seas. But there was always trash on the ground. I couldn't help but collect one large garbage bag and a grocery bag. A woman even helped. If you're wondering what's wrong with this, there's a lot going on. The government needs to take action. It should prevent littering and encourage people to be clean. Please protect nature. Be humane and throw your trash in the trash.
