Visiting Eloro Marinelli Beach was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I'm sharing my review because I hope it serves as a warning to anyone considering it. The first and most serious issue is the complete lack of parking. After paying an entrance fee that offers no services in return, you're forced to walk for miles on an unmarked dirt road. This situation is not only disorganized but also dangerous, especially in emergencies. Emergency vehicles are impossible to pass, making it a complete trap in times of need. Furthermore, there's no accessibility for people with disabilities. The poor footpath and lack of adequate facilities make accessing the beach an insurmountable challenge for anyone with limited mobility. It's unacceptable that a fee-based area doesn't comply with the law and doesn't guarantee everyone the right to enjoy the natural environment. The situation is exacerbated when it's discovered that while forest reserve workers are allowed to park their vehicles right in front of the entrance ticket office, visitors are forced to endure an ordeal to access the beach. This unequal treatment is unacceptable and shows complete disrespect for those who pay to enter the area. In short, Eloro Marinelli beach is a complete disgrace. You pay an entrance fee that offers nothing in return, find yourself walking for miles on an unmarked dirt road, and for many people, it's dangerous and inaccessible. I'll never return, and I strongly advise against visiting. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

The public beach was extremely dirty, a sign of neglect and indifference. Garbage was left in the streets, an unseemly sign for a tourist destination. Even more shameful was the complete absence of sidewalks along the so-called "promenade"—one that forced one to walk down the middle of the road: an unsafe and humiliating situation. It's truly a shame, as the sea and nature are magnificent, yet neglected and left to suffer from a lack of basic maintenance. I'm giving one star for institutional negligence and incompetence. I hope local authorities recognize this place's extraordinary potential and intervene as soon as possible: Sicily deserves to be valued, not neglected.

I'm giving it three stars because of the trash and poor maintenance. I think it's because it was about a month into "high" season, but that's no excuse for how dirty the beach was. It felt neglected. The water was beautiful and very clear. It felt good to swim.
