Wide beach with strong waves. Not much seaweed, but plenty of shells. The worst part is parking. It's scarce and very expensive. There are many beach bars in the area.

❤️It’s one of the most beautiful virgin beaches in Spain. ➖️Walking is endless because it’s 20 km long. To the mouth of the Gualquivir. ➖️We started walking from Matalascañas and returned after 3 km. And we did almost nothing. ➖️Walking on this paradise beach is amazing. No construction and no noise except the waves of the sea. ➖️Seagulls walk peacefully next to you and we saw a deer among the dunes. ➖️I’ve been to almost all the beaches in Spain. And I have to say that this is one of the best I’ve seen. ➖️Walking between nature and the sea is something different. Without any construction, noise or people. It’s a unique experience. ➖️I recommend taking a backpack, a bottle of water and enjoying the journey. ❗️❗️❗️And remember, you get back what you carry in your backpack❗️❗️❗️ Do not leave any kind of trash on the beach and enjoy.

Leaving the fishermen and all traces of buildings behind, it's a pristine beach that grows more beautiful as you go. It might be a bit crowded at first (beyond the tree trunks that mark the national park's boundaries), but it quiets down and the wildlife becomes more prominent and vibrant. It's undoubtedly Europe's longest untouched beach, and it's everyone's responsibility to take good care of it.

This isn't a beach. It's a highway. Cars, buses, and a constant stream of people walking. It should be a quiet, crowded beach, but it's not.

A quiet beach area without crowds, you have to go early to find parking but it's worth it
