Three Infinite Bands: Earth, Sea, and Sky. The monk is lost in thought. His short silhouette is a mere accident, failing to disrupt the dominance of the three realms. Earth, sea, and sky, three infinite bands, cast a shadow over the lonely existence; perhaps the great noise of silence also suffocates it. This immensity fills him with an indescribable nostalgia and, at the same time, a suffocating emptiness. The former splendor, lost on the horizon, returns to him in the form of suffering: the sea unfolds at his feet like a sweet and bitter fruit. Caspar David Friedrich painted "Monk Contemplating the Landscape" between 1808 and 1809.

A very nice beach in Conil. Parking is, of course, easy this time of year and free. The endless, wide, fine-sand beach begins just after the bridge over the Rio Salado. It's nice that the beach is only interrupted by dunes, not kiosks, umbrellas, and sun loungers. Nude bathing is also possible on the back. You can, but you don't have to.

It's actually called Castilnovo because of the watchtower on the beach. It's a naturist beach between the mouth of the Arroyo Colinete and Torre de Castilnovo. It has a wonderful atmosphere, of all kinds.

As you cross the river, you'll find a wide beach where you can spend a day naked and swimming. As a couple, we spent two days at this beach. It's a quiet, intimate area with no swimming. The water is also suitable for non-swimmers.
