4. Sarpi
Located right next to Georgia's border crossing with Turkey, Sarpi's beach is small but, due to its location, boasts generally very clear water. Swimming here offers a unique experience, accompanied by stunning views of the border. Despite fewer facilities in the surrounding area, the clarity of the water makes it a popular destination.
5. Ureki (Magnetic Sands)
Ureki is the only place on the Georgian coast known for its fine, black magnetic sand, rather than pebbles. This sand is believed to be beneficial for rheumatism and cardiovascular disease, making it a renowned health and therapeutic resort. Its shallow waters make it an extremely safe and ideal holiday destination for families with children.
6. Kobuleti
Kobuleti, located north of Batumi, has a long, wide coastline. It retains the atmosphere of a more traditional, Soviet-era resort town. Its pebble beach is lined with numerous hotels, guesthouses, and summer residences, offering more affordable accommodation options.
