It's a place we go to every year as a family. Bungalows, hotels, tents, or day trips. We stayed there in a tent on July 10, 2020. The state of Büyükeceli is deplorable.
There's no cleanliness. The municipality's restrooms have been canceled, and showers are sometimes open and sometimes closed. We couldn't find anyone on duty. We used the hotel and cafe restrooms. I thank the hotel cafe staff and the people living there. Even though we were staying in tents, they were helpful and friendly. Russian and Central Asian workers working on the nearby Akkuyu power plant construction have filled the hotels. In the evenings, hundreds of Turkish workers from the power plant are filling the shore and the sea. Not to mention the dozens of dogs roaming the shore. It's a shame that such a beautiful beach has become this bad. I wouldn't recommend going with a tent; the bungalows are closed this year, and if you can find a hotel room, I recommend going during the week.

We can say that it is the most beautiful beach in Mersin, with its Blue Flag Sea, sandy beach and red pine trees intertwined with nature.

It's a nice quiet place but I wish there weren't garbage on the beach and plastic bags floating in the sea :(

It's a typical labor market. Especially in the evenings, you'll encounter all sorts of things. The site is crawling with construction workers. You want people who come in in their underwear, smoking weed, or drinking. It's become a haven for humanoid creatures who scream, "I peed in the sea." There's plenty of worthless filth.

The sea and the coast are wonderful, but the construction of the atomic power plant is delaying the tourism aspect of the region.
Despite everything, my village is different.
