A poorly maintained beach. They also offer tent camping, caravan parking, picnic and barbecue services. We came for a day trip to the beach during the week. The entrance fee is 300₺ per person. There's no parking fee. The parking area is not bad; the trees provide shade for your car. The sea, like most of this area, is very beautiful, and there's no negative comment about it. However, families with children should be careful, as the sea deepens shortly thereafter. (We didn't see a lifeguard.) The sun loungers and shaded areas are also comfortable and convenient. Prices in the cafeteria are reasonable. However, the facility is completely clean. The toilets and changing rooms are filthy and smelly. There's no toilet paper in the restrooms. There are no trash cans between the sun loungers, leaving people confused about where to throw their trash. Trash from the surrounding area and the sea is not collected. The staff are indifferent. All in all, it's not bad for day trips to the beach or relaxing, as you can easily enjoy the food and drinks you bring with you without being disturbed. However, for extended periods of camping, caravanning, etc., cleaning may become a problem.
After leaving the car, you'll need to walk about 250 meters, which is slightly bumpy. It can get a bit crowded on weekends. The water is beautiful, slightly wavy, and cool. The first 4 meters are covered in small stones, gradually turning into fine sand. You can pitch a tent and have a barbecue. Please protect our nature and keep it clean.
Next to the Sazlıca campsite is a public beach (those visiting from out of town can enter the area marked Sazlıca Beach Campsite, but that's not where we went; it's a public beach with no facilities, accessible by foot along a path). While it might seem like a long walk to the sea, it's not. The sea is magnificent, the beach is magnificent. It would be wonderful if people could keep it clean. We collected enough cigarette butts and beer caps from the beach to fill a garbage bag. But even that wouldn't be enough to spoil the beauty. Everyone who visits should be meticulous about cleanliness. We parked our car on the roadside. There are no restrooms, cabins, or anything like that. The sea is perfect; I wish the municipality would take care of the beaches.
A facility that charges 300₺ per person upon entry could be better maintained. The showers, toilets, and cabins are poorly maintained, trash isn't collected regularly, and some of the sun loungers are broken. We only stopped by to see it once, but I doubt I'll be back. If you're going to visit this area, the hidden paradise bay a little further along might be a better option. Of course, there are no showers or other facilities there; it's completely untouched. The underwater scenery, especially along the rocks towards hidden paradise bay, offers stunning views. These areas are ideal for short underwater explorations.
The water is cool, but you get used to it. My 6-year-old son didn't get out of the water. There were families and couples. The shore is rocky, gets deeper as you go, and it can be dangerous for non-swimmers. It wasn't very crowded around 11 a.m. on a weekday, but the number of people increased slightly later. The entrance fee was 300 lira per person when we went. The campsite and dive center are also included. There was some trash and paint residue from boats in the sea. The restrooms were okay, the changing rooms were okay. Unfortunately, the situation changes daily depending on people's use. (July 17)
