Big Beach (Ereğli Beach)
It's the closest and largest beach to Ereğli's center. Although it's often quite crowded in the summer months, its basic amenities (showers, restrooms, and changing rooms) make it a popular choice for families. The sand is fine and clean. It's easily accessible from the center by minibus or a short walk.
Shipyard Beach
Tersane Beach, with a slightly quieter and more peaceful atmosphere than Büyük Plaj, is ideal for those seeking relaxation, especially on weekdays. Its crystal clear waters are notable. While there are small businesses around the area, it doesn't have the same commercial activity as Büyük Plaj.
