It is very beautiful because it is where the Lemas stream meets the sea. You can swim in both the warm sea water and the ice-cold water of the Lemas stream. There are places to set up tents, a camping area, and there are paid toilets, closed cabins, and showers. It is not dirty, not very clean, but it is beautiful.

Please read carefully, they will go as a family.
Nice family place. I didn't see any thugs.
But it is careless, uncared for, irrelevant.
1. The toilets are awful. The doors don't even close, there's no lock.
2. The shower cabin was supposedly built, there are 6 cabins side by side, but 2 of them have very little water flow, the room is the same shape, their doors don't close and there are no locks. The shower cabins don't separate men and women. If someone is waiting at the door, women are directly visible in that situation, it would be rude.
3. There were 2 shower cabins on Koca Sahil, 2 of the wooden sides were defective.
4. Electricity is only available for monthly or seasonal guests. Those staying for one day or 3-5 days are sent to the tent area at the very end, where there is no electricity, water, or lighting.
5. Employees, staff, do you give information about yourself 3-4 times? Did you pay, to whom, where, when, etc.
6. There's a place like a canteen, a can of cola is 15 TL. They don't have a liter bottle. Chips are 15 TL.
7. As you know, there is no electricity in my tent and the surrounding area. I wanted to charge my mobile phone. The first answer of the canteen attendant was that if it is stolen, we don't know.
8. I couldn't see any security cameras or anything.
9. The beach sand is neglected. They just spread the gravel sand in a corner with a truck and left.
10. There was a puddle of water at the bottom of the tent we set up way back. If it had come any closer, our tent would have been flooded at night and our belongings would have been destroyed.
11. I asked the employee how we were going to do the electricity work and he said if there was a portable socket, you should unplug it. There was a portable socket 5 meters away, but the nearest socket is at least 15 meters away.

These are just a few things that come to mind that I've seen.
I hope the friends who will go have read it well.

Like almost every public beach in Mersin, it's neglected and filthy. Basic amenities like showers and toilets are nonexistent, and the locals are overflowing with garbage and filth. Not to mention the potentially dangerous stray dogs fed by a few nearby holidaymakers and caravaners.

Instead of calling it a public beach, it would be more appropriate to call it a neglected beach. In previous years, when we visited, it was run by the municipality, and there was some order and cleanliness. This year, when we went, the whole place was filthy from neglect.

Free public beach in Limonlu
the beach in the area where the lemon tea flows
It is considered quiet and partly clean compared to a public beach.
The eastern Mediterranean coast has always been neglected
Easy to reach, on the E-5 road, there are many markets around
There is a walking path along the beach
ideal for a day trip
The water is cold where the tea is spilled
both freshwater and seawater together
You are unlikely to find much shade, so I recommend bringing an umbrella.
Coming here from Adana, after exiting the highway at Çeşmeli, it is about 30 km.
Generally, people in Mersin are in the majority on their virtuous side.
In Mersin, the western parts are generally quieter.
I think the other factor is that the houses in the Limonlu area are not very high-rise and the population is less.
In short, it's not bad, but it's not good either.
