The sea is clean and sandy but it was very windy when we went there. The sea was wavy. There is a supermarket, bim, and a döner kebab shop nearby. The roads are winding but you can get to the beach with a proper car.

The beach is beautiful, with good parking and a nice walking path and bike path, but the water is always full of weeds, so you have to swim in the clear water. Other than that, it's a nice beach. Erdek's public beach is better, but I recommend it for that reason.

We arrived in Turanköy. There are guesthouses and camping areas here. Since we were arriving with a caravan, we looked for a suitable place. We asked the caravan owners in the parking area opposite the beach if we could stay there. They said there were no problems, so we decided to stay. The only problem was the water filling area within the village. There's space for caravans and tents at the adjacent picnic area, but they charge a high fee per person. The beach is wide, sandy, and doesn't get deep quickly. It's a beautiful place, but the trash people throw around can make it unsightly. It's a peaceful and quiet place. There are Bim and Şok markets within the village. You can use the fountains in the village square to get water for your caravan.

The beach, with its beautiful sea and sand, far exceeded my expectations. I saw many white mussels in the sea, and they were alive.

The only thing missing was a changing room. I only saw one on the beach, and its door was broken.

I spent the day at Cowboys Beach. The food was good, and the place was comfortable. All kinds of drinks were available. However, there's no restroom; you have to go to the restroom outside for a fee, which costs 20 TL.

First, I want to remind those planning a trip to the Kapıdağ Peninsula. Don't expect crystal-clear, mirror-like water. It's a mountainous region with waves, so the sun can be relatively cloudy. However, there are some very clean rocks, especially along the cliffs, where you can swim alone, away from people. So, if you're looking for a vacation, a budget-friendly option, and a secluded spot to swim, this is the perfect destination. Since the island is completely covered in forest, you can also take a nature tour. But don't expect anything fancy. It's more of a bay culture than a beach culture. There's a village culture. There are plenty of beaches, but they can get crowded. As I mentioned, you'll find very clean rocks. The most important tip: bring a second pair of old sneakers for walking in the water or swimming on the rocks, which will make it much easier. Don't have high expectations for food or drink. There aren't many great places or hotels. You're best off going for two or three days, staying in a campsite or guesthouse, and then returning. The island is huge. You can explore the interior during the day, but you'd better have a higher vehicle because although the roads are good, they are very winding.
