How can the Eğirdir Municipality be such a manager or renter? It's shocking how the beautiful lake and its surroundings are being misused. It's filthy, the showers and changing rooms are unused, and it's incredibly noisy. Your coworker constantly forgets you, tries to remind you of us, and says nothing. And what's the point of charging for parking at a campsite? I wouldn't recommend it unless something changes, but the fact that you can swim in the lake is a nice plus.

We came here because it was on the road to Antalya, offering both a break and a place we hadn't seen before. We'd never been in a lake before, so it was a different experience. It's quite shallow, so it's perfect for kids. Nature is beautiful in its own right. My only criticism is that the people who run this place charge 50 TL per person to enter the beach. Okay, that's fine, but if you're going to charge, you have to provide the service. The beach is incredibly dirty; our people don't appreciate nature at all. There are so many cans and paper cups. I couldn't even see a warning, a trash can, or a staff member.

As a guest, it was fine. We didn't understand the 10 a.m. checkout requirement; it could have been 12, but the place we stayed in had an indoor toilet, but without a shower, it cost 1,000 TL a night. Since there were showers and toilets outside, we didn't need them. The bedding and beds were clean. The beach was clean, and there were markets and restaurants nearby. We found what we were looking for easily. I'd say it's a bit difficult to get to. Buses go from the center to Egirdir. If you get off at the gendarmerie station, you'll have to walk about a kilometer downhill. It was easy to go down, but a bit difficult to go up. I'm thinking of coming back.

Today we used the beach during our route holiday.
We did not camp, but the camping (tent, caravan, bungalow) areas are made separately. The tent and bungalow areas have separate WC, prayer room, and dishwashing area. The caravan section has separate WC area. I did not find the toilets hygienic.
Normal beach use entrance fee is 50₺ per person.
The water is very cold and shallow, those who want to leave the moment can experience it
For long-term camping, it needs to be cleaner and more organized in terms of hygiene.

I visited for the first time recently. It's a municipality-run venue, but you can bring your own supplies and take advantage of the plan. When we went, the cost was 200 TL for an umbrella and two sun loungers. There's no changing room on the beach. It's also located near the road, which is also owned by the municipality, but we were told there was a fee. I didn't think it was appropriate for the municipality to do so. I think people using sun loungers should be free, but maybe they'll fix it sometime. By the way, you can bring in food and drinks, including alcohol, from outside. The sea is quite shallow, and you go in there, and it barely reaches your knees. By the way, they said there were mushrooms in the lake when we visited. If I'd known, I wouldn't have gone. I just wanted to warn you. I recommend not going just for the sake of it without asking. The surrounding apple orchards also release pesticides into the lake, so I'd recommend considering this information before entering.
