This was the worst beach I've been to in Datça. It was very wavy and filthy. The middle of the beach is occupied by businesses and residential complexes. They charge 2,000 TL for four sunbeds. I think there are so many alternatives for swimming in this area, and this one was truly disappointing. Many of the Aegean's beautiful beaches are occupied by businesses, and while these businesses have a 10% occupancy rate, the public beach is overflowing. They're closing off 80% of the beach, leaving 10 or 15 people paying 500 TL per sunbed, while hundreds of people are squeezed into the remaining tiny space. It's an ironic picture of Türkiye's socioeconomic reality. We see the unequal and unfair distribution of resources, and while some areas suffer from a lack of space, the most valuable areas suffer from a dearth of customers. If the municipality were to buy this entire beach and make it 200 TL, everyone would have access to it, more value would be created, and the entire coastline would be well-maintained for everyone, not just a select few.

I'd say it's the most suitable beach in Datça for families with children. The shallow waters and sandy beaches make it ideal for children to swim in. I don't like the sand, so I don't usually choose this beach. It's a small, charming bay about 15 km from Datça, towards Marmaris.

It was a beach we specifically visited during our camping holiday, based on a recommendation. It's small, but it has truly magnificent sand and sea. It's pristine and shallow. It's perfect for families with children. There's a supermarket nearby. You can find food and drinks at the hotel restaurants. The hotels have closed off 80% of the beach, but I think the free spot is sufficient. You park your car and walk about 50 meters. It was a wonderful experience.

It's a vast, sandy beach. Perfect for families with children, it also has ample seating for the public. You can park your car on the back road and enjoy the day with an umbrella and chairs. The sea is shallow and clear. There are businesses and hotels nearby, and you can even pay to use them. You wouldn't come to Datça just for this, but it's beautiful. If you don't like sand like me and don't enjoy open spaces, it won't appeal to you. There are many beaches like this in the Aegean, and it's not a big deal.

The bay is beautiful, but unfortunately, a common problem in our country is littering, and perhaps one of the most significant problems is the ownership of beaches by businesses. If you don't have an umbrella on the beach, it's a problem because there's practically no shade, especially for families with babies and children. Businesses charge 1000 TL for two sun loungers and an umbrella (August 2025). Furthermore, the hotels have taken over the beach and don't let anyone sit there, as if it were their own property. The sea is a bit dirty at first, with seaweed, and it gets deeper after about 30-40 meters.
