This free public beach has a wide area and an asphalt road to the bottom.
There are markets and grocery stores where you can shop in the center of Yalıköy and it is close to the beach.

It's a nice, quiet place. I recommend it. The beach is pebbly but it doesn't bother you. The water is fine. You can drive right up to the beach by car. The roads are newly built but they're not perfect. The road ahead is rough. Be careful. If you prefer a family environment, go there. It's a quiet place.

It's the only place in Istanbul where I've ever gone swimming and where I can be sure it's clean. Because it's on the Black Sea coast, many people worry about the risk of drowning, and this is definitely something to consider. On a windy and wavy day, the sea can be dangerous even for a good swimmer. That's why I always check the weather and wind conditions before going, and if they're suitable, I set out. So far, I haven't had any problems.
When entering the sea, be sure to heed the warning signs and avoid crossing safety lines. Even those inexperienced swimmers should avoid the sea on a choppy day. The beach is quite wide and long, there's plenty of parking, and there are plenty of markets and grocery stores just before you reach the beach. If you time it right, it's a place where you can enjoy the sea.

The Black Sea has very rough waves. The depth suddenly increases after two steps. It is very risky. You have to be very careful. There are lifeguards, but do not trust them because they lay and watched all day long, never once getting up to look at the sea.

It reminded me of my childhood because I grew up in the Black Sea region. It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand is clean, the waves crashing on it are very peaceful. Of course, if you like wavy seas, I definitely recommend it.
