Thanks to a friend who lives in Bodrum, I had the opportunity to visit. It's a pristine, pristine bay. The water was swimmable in May.

If you follow the path from the Bodrum Municipality Bitez Cafe, you'll arrive at Aquarium Bay. It's approximately 3 km long. The round trip is 6 km. You can swim in the smaller coves along the way. Please bring your trash back with you. Please don't pollute the environment.

After finding the chapel in the photo I shared, they've marked the bay leading down as Aquarium. The bay I commented on, marked Aquarium Bay, is small and actually more beautiful. It's not very comfortable to swim because of the boats. There are many boats entering and exiting the bay. It took about an hour on foot. It's best to go early. There's a single tree, and there's no shade other than that. You can bring a single tent for shade. The sea is beautiful. You can also come by boat. It's an ideal route for trekkers. Take water (ice, preferably) with you. Don't set off without food or drink. I was a bit tired for a moment and thought the spot marked Aquarium would be enough, but I walked for another 7-8 minutes and swam in a much nicer spot. While you're here, stop by here.

I think it's a must-see for anyone visiting Bodrum. We visited here as a family on a cruise ship, and I think it's one of the most beautiful bays. If you bring swimming goggles, you can actually see the fish. It's a truly enjoyable place to swim.

Of course, it would be nice to have a yacht, but we reached there by hiking along the mountain paths, which is a whole other level of fun. There's a signpost on Bitez beach, and following that road takes you to Aquarium Bay, which is a 40-minute walk. There are other beautiful bays in between.
