They've ruined the ready-made facility purchased from the AKP municipality. There were broken showers, umbrellas, and sun loungers, but now they're gone. There's no walking space anymore. You're failing at municipal management.
Our feet burned until we reached the far sea entrance. The sea was very mossy. Umbrellas: There were around 200-250. There was no sunbed service. The entrance fee is 100 TL, free for those under 10 years old. You rent the umbrella from outside. There were 1-2 jellyfish in the sea. Generally below average. It doesn't deserve even one star.
It's very crowded and the toilets are dirty. They sell sunbeds for 400 liras and there's nowhere to put them. It's not worth it anyway. It closes around 9-10 pm so don't go that way!
Go to Riva public beach only if you have your own sunbeds and umbrellas. Otherwise, don't go because they won't let you use the ones already there, and you can't even pay to rent one. The sea is clear in the early mornings, but terrible in the afternoons. There are no services there, but there's an entrance fee of 100 lira. The sand is so soft you sink when you walk. It's a long walk from the entrance to the sea. If you have luggage, it's very tiring.
Those who gave it 5 stars must have done so to raise the average. This beach doesn't even deserve 1 star. The sea is filthy, and even the Ganges River, where the dead are cremated, is cleaner than here. It's like there's no water in the showers; it just flows thinly, and of course, it's filthy. We pay parking and beach fees, and millions are collected, but there's no service or cleanliness. Don't make money in places like this.
