A poorly maintained beach. No sand today due to the storm.

The magnificent Mataró beach, with sun loungers, showers, furniture for relaxation, a lookout area with a lifeguard, a colored flag indicating the level of danger of the sea due to waves or due to the state of water pollution or the presence of jellyfish.

Mataró is a beautiful beach in Barcelona. You arrive by train or bus. There are plenty of trees, ping-pong tables, parking/charging for electric cars, restaurants, and a huge beach with a pristine Mediterranean Sea. It's a delight.

The beach is super beautiful, practically clean, with crystal-clear water. But there are nudists and a lot of really annoying people who call you and try to get your attention for any reason. There are also a lot of dangerous illegals. I even wanted to call the police because a strange person was following me a lot. I'm never going back to this town.

A family-friendly, textile-covered beach at the beginning and a naturist beach towards the end. Close to the train station, it's difficult to access from the road, so be careful. The beach is famous for its numerous underwater rocks and structures, which are a delight for divers. However, it can be dangerous in strong currents or waves.
