It's a 5-minute ride from Ayvalık center via Sarımaklı minibus or a 20-25-minute walk. The municipality's facility is spotlessly clean, has a Blue Flag, and costs 20 TL for two sunbeds and an umbrella. Food and drink are reasonably priced. Despite being a Saturday, it was quite quiet, and the music wasn't too loud. I highly recommend it.

One of the small beaches operated by Ayvalık Municipality.
It is located where three high flagpoles are visible from afar, on the way from Ayvalık to Çamlık.
There is also a parking lot at road level.

Since the road is above, a three-story grassy area suitable for sun loungers has been built down to the beach.
The beach is very small.
The sea is generally slightly wavy.
Pretty clean.
Not very deep.
Some days you can even see small fish on the shore.
Shower area,
Changing room,
It has a toilet and a buffet.
Music is also played throughout the day.

The people using this beach are mostly middle-upper class and young-middle aged.

You can buy 2 sun loungers and an umbrella for 20 lira and use them until they close.

Note to Ayvalık Municipality;
The round umbrellas made of spears used on the beach are not useful because they are too small.
The shadow areas are very small.
A more practical solution must be found for beaches urgently...

The municipality operates a fee for sunbeds and umbrellas. The food is not bad, but the flavor and content are low. The Ayvalık toast contained traces of ingredients. The sea was murky because it was within the gulf. Boats need to be inspected; foam and diesel are coming in.

The place is very nice. We thank the municipality for this hospitality. The prices are good.
But I came here as a customer and a guest because the price was not good, and the staff working at the opposite side called me to come here without even being interested in the issue. I did not understand why they called me to close at 18.40, I did not understand why the opening and closing hours are written on the door.
I expect the mayor to first teach the personnel he will employ on this issue how to treat people.

It's small and secluded, and the prices are very reasonable. The water is murky. When there are waves, floating plastic can come in.

Sitting at a table in the shade is free and sunbed rental is cheap.

The sewer system in Ayvalık discharges outside the bay between Ayvalık and Artur. There should be no discharge into the bay.

The dog mentioned in some comments is not at the beach, but at the neighboring surf school. He is tied up so he can't come to the beach.

I usually enter from here. I swim, take a shower, drink a soda, and then leave.

Last year I was paying 15 TL. This year it's 30 TL. 2 sun loungers and 1 umbrella are 200 TL.

Today, July 13, 25, 10:30 a.m., the sea is wavy, the water is clean and cool, and there is a northeasterly wind. It is very secluded.
