Why Borsh Beach?

Borsh Beach is a 7-kilometer-long, pebble-sand beach on the southern coast of Albania, stretching along the magnificent Ionian Sea. With its Mediterranean climate, clear turquoise waters, lush green hills, and tranquil atmosphere, it offers a wonderful holiday experience. Its length allows for a break from the crowds, making it ideal for a peaceful holiday. It is also surrounded by the impressive scenery of Mount Llogara.

How to Get There?

There are several ways to get to Borsh Beach. The most common way is by renting a car or taking a bus from larger cities like Himare or Vlora. While the roads are relatively good, driving can be challenging due to the mountainous terrain. Alternatively, you can join a tourist tour from Vlora or Saranda. You can also get directly to the beach by entering 2VV4+7P9 into your navigation system or taxi drivers.

Why Choose Borsh Beach?

Borsh Beach is a perfect option for those looking to escape crowded beaches. Its fewer crowds ensure a quiet and peaceful holiday. The long stretch of beach offers plenty of space for sunbathing or walking. The surrounding natural beauty and diverse activities also make it a popular choice.

When to Go?

Borsh Beach offers the best experience between June and September. These months offer warm, sunny days, ample time to enjoy the sea, and fewer crowds. July and August, on the other hand, are more popular, and the weather can be quite hot. May and October are also suitable for those who prefer milder weather.

Opportunities

Borsh Beach offers sun lounger and umbrella rentals, numerous restaurants and cafes, water sports (jet skiing, kayaking, etc.), and accommodation options (hotels, guesthouses). Grocery stores and other small businesses are also located nearby, but luxury amenities may be limited.

Wow, what a beautiful pebble beach, crystal clear water, free parking right at the beach, and plenty of free beach space (or private beach facilities galore) for me to set up my own umbrella. Even today, Saturday, there was plenty of space: the free beach is just a little before what Google Maps says "Borsh Beach," but it's easy to find (they're building a Radisson Hotel opposite).

We loved that beach. It was one of our best days in Albania. For delicious and inexpensive food, try the Christmas fast food. We tried a few places there, and this one was the best. The beach wasn't too crowded. There's also a designated area for personal belongings like umbrellas and blankets. You can also pay for beds and umbrellas. There are restrooms, changing rooms, and showers. The water is deep, so be careful if you're with children. The water is clear and refreshing. It's not too cold now (July). There's free parking.

A long beach with a variety of swimming pools. The sea is crystal clear and clean. We rented two umbrellas and four wooden sun loungers for €20.00, the cheapest we've ever had. The restaurant and bar (Noel Beach Bar) are good and reasonably priced for those with modest expectations. Five of us paid €48.00 for generous portions (cash only). The bartender was incredibly friendly, which is quite rare here. There's free parking, very close to the beach, with cars easily visible.

It was my favorite beach in Albania. If I hadn't been staying in Ksamil, I would have liked to have visited more, but the road between the two cities is winding and takes over an hour, so I only got to it once. We went in September, threw in our towels, and enjoyed it to our heart's content. It was a great relief after the small, crowded, and noisy paid beaches in Ksamil. I also thought the water was warmer.

It's more beautiful and cheaper than Ksamil. The plaǰ is a bit rocky but very beautiful. I recommend it.
